BeamieToo
Thank you for sharing this magnificent short piece that will remind me once again to "Always Expect the Unexpected". Ride with care ! Link to comment
AnRSguy
Wonder where they found the smashed up Norton to use? Link to comment
Twisties
So how many of you who watched this got advertisements that seemed to be local to your area? How did a website I've never been on before and to whom I've submitted no information know where I am? Link to comment

PhillyFlash
You don't really think that there is any true anonymity on the web anymore, do you? Link to comment
PhillyFlash
...but the ending is great though a little depressing. A little depressing? Link to comment
Twisties
So what do you think is the point of the work? Is it an anti-motorcycling piece? After all, it could be taken, though I don't think this is it's intent, to portray the lead as more concerned about cigarettes than his SO. It certainly makes the statement that motorcycle travel is dangerous, more dangerous than air travel. Alternatively, it may just be a warning, or it may be intended to simply show the degree of disorientation and confusion that may follow a head injury. I did feel it was an anti-motorcycle piece, but can see that is very much open to interpretation. How did you see? Jan Link to comment
jimfastcar
I think it was just a tragic, sad story. To me it was about the loss of life. Wish I had not shown it to my wife.... Link to comment
eddd
I found it a bit far-fetched. Link to comment

BeamieToo
Jan, I think that the motorcycle was just a means to tell a rich short story with a tragic but very surprising finish. I'm fairly sure there is not any hidden political or moral messages here. I used to be quite a fan of the Rod Serling's Twilight Zone and there were a lot of similarities to the style. The things you can notice are the loneliness and isolation of this fella, the remorse and sensitivity he exhibits when he discovers the deer he killed, the frustration with the would be calming cigarette and the surprise at the damage to the bike himself. Not a film critic of any sort but I have to give this piece 2 thumbs up Link to comment

BFG
Deer. You know I hate 'em. Kinda like how I felt about the ocean after watching "Jaws". Link to comment
Exploreinman
I don't think the film was about motorcycling at all, but rather about the fragileness of life. One moment we're sailing along, and the next who knows. The film pulls on the emotions of the truth of that reality. I thought it was very well done, yet with a depressing ending. Link to comment

Apparently it plays on many levels. Link to comment
leikam
If it had had an upbeat ending, it would be about the resiliency of life. I didn't see it as anti-motorcycle either. Link to comment

BeniciaRT_GT
Simply awesome. This guy must have had a head injury once himself. Amazing how well he got me to understand what he wanted me to think. Link to comment
RGMIII
Pretty powerful video. The poignancy of the ending reminds me a little of A Rose for Emily by Faulkner. Rick Link to comment
Lion_lady
great short and wow I did not see that coming. You didn't see the purple hairbrush in the side bag stuff? Thought I saw what could be a second face shield behind the guy as he sits up. Yeah. Depressing, kinda twilight zone-y. Accident Scene Management teaches to search a wide arc around a bike crash for additional victims. Never trust the rider's info as fact in a crash. If EMTs had been called... P Link to comment
