drzep
Does anyone know if this is available in the USA? Or would anyone across the pond be willing to have one shipped to me? Feel free to PM me. Thanks! Link to comment
JR356
Hi, BMW Santa Cruz is a(the)Wunderlich dealer. If they don't stock, they can order. www.bmwsantacruz.com http://www.bmwsantacruz.com/wunderlich.html JR356 Link to comment
rideaway
I would love to see reviews for the Wunderlich Marathon from people that have used one on a 1200 RT. Link to comment
nazdravanul
Even though I was forced (by the bad roads in my region) to trade in my beloved, perfect 06 RT for a 08 GSA, I can still give some advice on the matter : the Wunderlich Marathon screen is absolutely brilliant on the RT. The stock shield was fine for a one up 400 km ride, but 2 up for 1000+ days you definitely need more. The Marathon improved the ride in every possible way, mileage included (20% better mileage with taller windshield and higher seat for my 6.1 long legged physique Link to comment
Mike05
Hi Zep, I'm still enjoying your old shield!! Check this out: Wonderlich "Marathon" Wind Screen Hope to see you this summer; back to the Rhode Island beaches in August! Link to comment
bdukes
I have this same windshield on my RT. I use it for the winter months and change back to the factory shield when it warms up. Just a little too warm in the summer time. I cut the top of it to match the top of the factory shield because I didn't like looking at the top line. It worked out great for me. Link to comment
drzep
Hey Mike: Glad the CB is working out for you! Looking forward to a ride around the RI coast once it warms a bit. I just put a new seat on the RT that brings me a up a little and being >6' puts me square in the wind tunnel at highway speed, so I'm looking at the Wunderlich. Plus, the wife is getting beat up something fierce. I've heard great things about the Marathon, including the comments in this thread (thanks guys!). Unfortunately, the site you mentioned only ships to UK addresses. Still working on a way to procure one. JR356: I emailed BMW of Santa Cruz so hopefully they will get back to me this week. Thanks for the tip. Link to comment

drzep
Yeah, very pricey. And I found this thread that makes me a bit concerned: Quality? Link to comment
