Powering the Valentine V1

Recommended Posts

I am looking for some guidance in reguards to powering my Valentine V1. I do not want to use the 12V "cigarette" adapter. I would rather hardwire it to the centec fuse panel. Could someone direct me to the proper post. My searches have been unsuccessful.

Do you have the hardwire adapter for the V1? If you've already got the Centech installed, it's very straight forward.

I've got mine wired to a Touratech Canbus helper that is then fed into the Centech ... basically the Touratech block is just a switched fuse block, where the Centech is always hot. Same net effect.

This is probably what i am looking for. I did not find one on the Valentine web page.

If you bought it new, the V1 should have had the hardwire adapter in the box when you got it - take a look there before buying another one!
