Nemo
Hello, Over the past week I have been trying to contact CQlights (HID) to order a low beam for my 1150RT. Three e-mails, two phone calls, and their "leave us a MSG box" have been unanswered. Has anyone done business with this company? Regards, Brian Link to comment
johnlt
Yes but it's been 3 months ago. At that time I received my order just fine. Link to comment

Weyman
My personal experience was good. I ordered a kit and received it promptly. Lots of others on the LT list have reported very good results with CQ. I'd say CQ enjoys a good reputation there. Post back when more info is available. Link to comment
NoHeat
I had an uncomfortable feeling buying from cq last year because they didn't provide a physical address, not even on the package they sent me. They ship from someplace in California (according to the postal-meter zip code on the package I received), yet they use a Canadian domain name for their website. Also, the package arrived with instructions in Spanish only, which was weird. But at least they did ship a product, and the product works ok. Link to comment

swilson
I bought a low beam for my R1150RT at Xmas time. Had no issues at all. Can't tell you how long it took to arrive since my wife hid it, wrapped it, and stuck it under the tree. I was pleased with the quality when I installed it and its working great. Link to comment
Nemo
I believe that he might be monitoring this site. I finally received a response and now confirmation that the H7 HID has been mailed. I'm sure the product will be trouble free. Brian Link to comment
SYV RT
After reading the posts I purchased CQ's low beam for my RT. Received them in 3 days. My question now is how do I run the wiring? I plan on placing the ballast on the flat piece of metal coming off the oil cooler but would like to know how others have run the wiring out of the light housing. I do not want to cut a 1" hole in the cover and use the supplied grommet, so do I cut the grommet off and make a small opening at the bottom of the cover or just run the wires under the cover and hope the rubber O ring compresses enough and the wires do not pinch. I am open to suggestions both on the wire routing and mounting of the ballast. Link to comment
Laffo IBA#34115
I received mine from them 2 weeks ago. Very prompt delivery. Exact item ordered. E-mail notification when sent. All of it. I ordered later a replacement bulb to keep as a spare and it arrived with two of them 3 days later. Seems they were having a 2fer special I did not know about. I used the website to order both times. It did not involve speaking to anybody. I like it that way. Link to comment

Andy Johnston
I just cut a 1" hole in the removable lamp cover as the instructions say. when you sell the bike or remove the HID lighting just plug the hole with a blind grommit. you don't want to comprimise the sealing of the lamp unit by bringing the wires out over the o ring seal andy R1150 RT Link to comment
