flexibleflyer
Attached is a picture of my modified Russell seat. I took an electric carving knife and reduced the wings on the front and back sections, then had it re-covered by a local auto upholstery guy. Best of both worlds! Link to comment
bakerzdosen
I hesitate to say this because of the screwy internet connection where I am, but has anyone else successfully downloaded that attachment? I'm getting a 404 error from the server. Link to comment
Firefight911
Can't see it either. Link to comment
flexibleflyer
Sorry - I don't know how to add the picture. Help would be appreciated. Thanks, Bob Link to comment
drzep
Me neither...but any modification made to a Russell seat with an electric carving knife is something that I certainly want to see! Link to comment

jaytee
That actually looks really nice! More importantly - how does it ride??? JT Link to comment
flexibleflyer
Many thanks to bakersdozen for posting the picture - the seat is actually very comfortable - I have only put a couple of hundred miles on it, but so far it is great - I really didn't like the Russell "wings" and the pattern that was on it - I don't know if I could ever do the modification again successfully - had to remove some of the metal wire that was in the wings, and a good deal of foam - the cutting and shaping only took me a couple of hours - it was a nice sunny day and kind of relaxing - Bob Link to comment
