H7 HID bulb focus point

I installed some H7 HIDs on my GSA and noted that, as expected, they are much brighter but also noted that they seemed to "raise" the beam up compared to the standard bulb. I used the lever to lower it and that seems to take care of the problem but was wondering if anyone else has noted this and what if anything they did to compensate.
