Alternator on 800 ST

Does anyone know how the 800 ST will handle a heated jacket, moto lights and heated grips? Thanks

You've got a total of 400 watts to work with.

 

Figure 100 for the bike. (guessing)

 

Motolights with 35w lights would be 70w more.

 

Add a Gerbing at 77 watts.

 

Still leaves room for the grips to be on high, etc.

 

Probably want to shed some load if slow and/or idling a bit but you should be just fine on the road.
