I have about 2000 miles on them and notice that there is a "line" that is showing on both the front and back tires on the left side of the tire. The line goes all around the tire. These tires use a different rubber compound on the edges vs the center. Is this what the line is? BTW, these are made in Spain and were not part of the recall these tires had that were made in France. Link to comment
ShovelStrokeEd Posted November 21, 2007 Share Posted November 21, 2007 Nope, the line is there as part of an anti-static system used when molding the tire. It is quite common when using high silica rubber. It is also nothing at all to worry about. Link to comment
