R1200RT Shifter Adjustment

Is the shifter adjustment done by loosening the torx bolt and repositioning the lever to the desired position or is there more to it? It looks like a 6mm wrench will fit. I put a larger cover/extender on it to give me more "feel" but now it is a little bit high and in the way so I want to lower it. Thanks.

Yeah, just move it on the spline until you have it where you want it. There is also a turnbuckle thingy under the tupperware that can also be used for the same purpose. I think it gives you a little finer adjustments.
