Camping in Chiricahua National Monument - Arizona

Joan and I are planning on taking the GS camping in the Chiricahua National Monument this Friday and Saturday. Any suggestions/advice regarding our trip would be appreciated. We are thinking of camping in the monument or south of the monument around Rustler Park.

We are leaving Buckeye around 9:30 10:am. I am not familiar with the camping grounds in the area so we will head to the Chricahua National Monument info center and go from there. Our plans are very flexible!

You will enjoy the trip ! We have always stayed at the Copper Queen Hotel in Bisbee no to far from the Monument; be sure and make dinner reservations for ROC in Bisbee. Tombstone is another fun place to stay "Tombstome Motel" is clean and close to the resturants and a hoppin bar on the weekends.
