Bonkorama
OK, file this one under "bonehead". Tonight after working on the bike most of the day, I placed my old GIVI TOP BOX on its rack on my bike, clicked it into place... and then... remembered i'd lost the key. I guess a trip to a LOCKSMITH? would do the trick? Or is this gonna be more of a pain in the A** than that? Any lock-savvy brothers or sisters out there? Link to comment
Tank
No worries, I broke mine in the box and the local locksmith filed a key in about 10 minates..... I think "The Club" keyblank is the one he used, though don't trust my memery with that. Link to comment
Bonkorama
that's reassuring Bill, thanks for the info. "doh" is all i have to say for myself on this one. Link to comment
tallman
You had better luck than I did. I broke my key on a trip and tried the local locksmith route. No luck. Had to get GIVI key blanks from R&L and get new key cut. If you find a blank that works, please post the info. Link to comment
Troper3
You are not the first. So any new news on the no key issue? Link to comment
BUSTED
I'm told that either a Nissan or Toyota blank, forgot which one, works. Link to comment

I'll stop by Anchor Lock and Key and ask which plank he used.... he's an old BSA rider, so I should be able to get classifed information out of him Link to comment
Bonkorama
Tank, that would be AWSOME if you could, although I hate to make you go to the trouble. I had to work today ( Sunday, yeah i know, so much for a day of rest ) so its off to find a locksmith tomorrow. I've also made note of the Nissan/Toyota key info as well. THanks all for the help. I'll keep you all posted as this evolves. -paul Link to comment
