Kelly3027
Now that I've got my bike, I'll need a service manual. Which one though? Clymer, Haynes, CD, download ? Give me some thoughts please. Thanks, Kelly. Link to comment

Thanks, Kelly. All of them. Seriously. They all have the +/-, and what one doesn't show/explain, maybe the other one will. I think it's worthwhile buying them all. I do. Link to comment

Bill_Walker
I find the Haynes manual covers a lot of stuff that the Clymer manual says is best left to the dealer. But the BMW CD manual is the ultimate arbiter. You do need more than one. Link to comment

Thanks, Kelly. The BMW CD is no good whatso ever as a home mechanics repair manual.....However it is priceless for detail drawings and cetain photographic material. It has NO wiring diagrams (which is criminal). So I go for in this order - 1/. Haynes Manual. 2/.This and other web sites offer fantastic maintenance guides. 3/.Clymer manual. 4/.BMW CD Andy Link to comment
