I was wondering the same thing. It looks like it's been fashioned from old surplus drop tanks.

 

By the way; nice pics thumbsup.gif Looks like a really fun show!

I don't mean to be flippant, but there were 400 rigs at the show. I don't recall seeing anything of that particular nature though.

 

I am not sure why you are asking, but Doug Bingham knows everyone and everything there is to know about side cars in Los Angeles.

I wondered because my family used to produce this sidecar from the 20's to the 50's. Every once in a while they pop up at shows like this. They are called a "Goulding Rocket". I have one in my garage...

Wow! That is very interesting and cool thumbsup.gif I don't recall seeing one like that, but again there were 400 something rigs there according to the promoter. I will definitely keep my eyes out though next year. If I see one I will let you know.

The silver wonder is made from old fuel cells. two seater/tandem. Powered by VW, I peaked under the skirt crazy.gif, By far the freakiest of the freaks there but very kool.

Plenty of vintage toys and new stuff too. wave.gif
