autolight 3923 question

I just picked up a couple of autolight 3923 and was going replace the one's in my 99 Rt 1100, but they seem to be a fraction longer at the tip end, threads look about the same in length. is this the case with the autolights ? slightly longer at tip. thanks

Boy, it's a good thing I never checked when I installed the Autolites in my RTP. Got rid of the minor surging and get good milage.

If I'd measured, I'd never enjoyed the benefits and savings.
