Hi. I'm new to this board (but not Beemers). Can anyone help with either hard copy digital versions of owners, users, service and or technical manuals for my 'new to me RT'. I've owned several BMWs, r100/7, K100rt, k1200lt, K1100RS and a host of other brands. The R1150 maybe a keeper, only 10k miles on it, and excited about riding it.

Thanks in advance for your help. This looks like a great board.

regards,

Greg

BMW sells the service CD. Both Haynes and Cylmer sell aftermarket manuals.

another place to look is

www.bmwmc.net/

Mainly about RT-P's but service manuals for R1100 and R1150 are there and video's for downloads re servicing.

There's a wealth of information there.

I get strange dead links on that site. eek.gif I copied the URL and tried it on Gates' revenue generator browser and it came up asking for dealer credentials. eek.gifeek.gif I was most excited to think I might find a wiring diagram for my 2000 RT-P.

Thanks to all of you for responding. I'll be picking up the tech CD at my local dealer.

Also , be sure to check out ADVrider.com hall of wisdom and do a search for oilheads for dummies.

And check out ibmwr.org

The BMW Factory Manual is only for R&R work (no diagnostics) frown.gif so if you have any questions, this is a good forum to be at.

Ok, sometimes i have had that too when i bookmarked the website and later tried to access it.

What i found you had to do is to manually type in the website. Seems to work for me.

I just tried it by typing in and it worked ok.

Hopefully the attached image will show you what's available.

BTW, it does have info on the 2000 RT-P

Cheers

Steve
