JerryF Posted October 21, 2007 Posted October 21, 2007 Just got home from my trip to the north west. While there i had a seat appt. at rich's. All i can say is WOW! what an improvement. With the stock R12ST passenger seat my wife was toast after 30-45 min. After rich got through with it, we went on a 4hr ride around the hood canal. And the wife said she did not even notice the seat. She is very happy with the seat. And that means i'm happy. While the stock front was not horrible. It was to soft. After rich flattened it out and firmed it up. It to was much improved. And while riding i also did not find myself thinking about the seat at all. So in the end rich's gets two bottoms up from us. I tried to include pics. But even on the lowest res my photos are about 10k to big. i will build a seat page and add to my .mac home page. homepage.mac.com/k12lt/ Cheers Jerry
bakerzdosen Posted October 23, 2007 Posted October 23, 2007 Congrats. It looks great. Hopefully you'll enjoy yours as much as I've enjoyed mine. I don't know exactly what's up with posting pics. The ubb software here is kinda picky about graphics linking. Normally, you could just take this: and it would work. However, the ubb software doesn't like the ".JPG" in all caps. So, you'd think you could use the thumbnails: But that doesn't (obviously) work either. I think the filename cannot have more than one dot in it. Also, it doesn't like the apostrophe in the url ("rich's%20seats"). Change that on your .mac account and then you can post either of the above and have them work. Just change the IMG_0059.JPG to IMG_0059.jpg for the full files - although they're a tad bit wide for people on the board - and add the other three pics - 0060 though 0062 - and you're on your way to posting pics.

Did Russel show you that?
bakerzdosen Posted October 23, 2007 Posted October 23, 2007 Did Russel show you that? Hey, some people run into burning buildings, others sit in front of a computer...
Kitsap Posted October 23, 2007 Posted October 23, 2007 Jerry, you think you like it now, in another year you'll love it as it commits your shape to its memory. Rich did my saddle last year, great product. Glad you enjoyed the Hood Canal in my neck of the woods. Did you do it clockwise or the preferred counter clockwise?
JerryF Posted October 24, 2007 Author Posted October 24, 2007 Hi Kitsap: We went counter clockwise. We started at Illahee where my dad lives. To brownsville, Kitsap way, Route 3, hood Canal bridge, And so on. We also spent 6 days at ocean shores flying kites on the beach. And of course feeding the always starving seagulls. then on to north head and cape disappointment light houses. And then overnight at Canon beach. Then to Vancouver to see my 95 year old grand mother. ( grandma's are great ) So as always, we had a great time in my favorite part of the world. Cheers Jerry
Kitsap Posted October 25, 2007 Posted October 25, 2007 Ah, you did it the "correct" way Drop a line the next time your planning a tour this way, I'll break out the dual line kite for some flying with ya.
