Mr_Yuk Posted October 21, 2007 Posted October 21, 2007 I think this looks really good. Some minor suggestions for your consideration: *Move the map linky up to just after the location announcement and reduce the map magnification to show the location of John Day relative to the Western US. *Where you have "map linky" now, replace with "zoom in on the map and find the green tent." *You might indicate what the entrance fee will cover and will not cover - allows you to re-emphasize that the fee does not cover camping (some rally entrance fees include camping). You are more experienced than me on whether this might be a possible misunderstanding. These are not "hard" recommendations, just my thoughts. It looks good. Rod

Your entry fee will be precisely determined over the next few months but will not exceed $50. Who wants to come and play in John Day, Oregon? IN for me! Good comments Rod. Anything else? (dunno why the miles listed don't line up like I want them too...)
Mike05 Posted October 21, 2007 Posted October 21, 2007 Steve, Good job!! Your announcement does what it's supposed to do; sparks interest, provides applicable information & offers alternatives! You set a nice stage sir; " "If you build it they will come"

Mr_Yuk Posted October 21, 2007 Posted October 21, 2007 Good comments Rod. Anything else? (dunno why the miles listed don't line up like I want them too...) I think the Posting software automatically deletes extra spaces. I don't know how to do it, but if you could paste in a table or picture of a table maybe that would retain the spacing? It looks fine the way it is. Go for it.
Fasterpill Posted October 21, 2007 Posted October 21, 2007 Works for me, maybe one of the best ever - hey we can learn from History. I'm proud of this presentation. Maybe we should present a little prize to the person who guessed John Day on that taunt post??
