I recently read the above-mentioned ride report after a friend told me about it, (There's my clue as to how good this report is, people are still talking about it two years later). I searched BMWsporttouring figuring somebody had discussed it, and sure enough, here's the thread. But being such a short thread, I'm suspect that many are unaware of the report...so here I go bringing it back up two years later. You really should check out this ride report; the report, photography, and the ride are very impressive.
