I would like to take my 6 yr. old daughter with me on my motorcycle. Does anyone have any suggestions on some good quality protective riding gear and where to purchase same.

Thanks a ton.

Try a motorcycle shop that deals with small children size Japanese dirt bikes. They should have the gear.

I get my son's at Polo, Germany

They will ship to the US and most of there stuff will "Grow" with your daughter. The down side is that it is in german. Let me know if you need more help with this

Several States have a requirement that her feet must touch the pedals--just a thought.

I just bought a jacket and pants for my son from these guys cruising clothes for kids. Their service is great, the owner rides with his kids so he has some experience too. They also have an exchange policy for upgrading as the kids grow. No affiliation, but they did well by me.

the helmet is an HJC youth model from cycle gear.

What do you think of the quality? Is the armor decent? My son out grew his Stokes Jacket and I need to replace it. I like that this stuff has zippers for ventilation as opposed to the Stokes.

Do you have an email addy for them? They do not list one on the site.

You are right about being able to reach the pegs. I will have to find someone to fabricate some peg extensions.

These are good folks to deal with. They used to go by "Family Motorcycling" - what they were when we got our daughter's gear. They had good quality gear when we last traded with them.

We got her helmet from Fulmer. Snell 2000 rated, decent vents, good graphics (pink - of course), good price.
