Liberty790 Posted October 14, 2007 Posted October 14, 2007 I am interested in a pair of Wam and Safe ultimate heated gloves, they look great and are supposed to be waterproof and not bulky. I have a W&S jacket liner and it is great. Does anyone know if they give discounts to members of this board?
Dances_With_Wiener_Dogs Posted October 14, 2007 Posted October 14, 2007 Dunno...have you called them? I realize that today they are probably closed, hence the reason for your post. It's rare that a retailer will give discounts for this board. It's not that we might not have a tremendous buying power, but our administration has discouraged group buys associated with the site's name. It's part of the No-Advertisements aspects, I think. WarmNSafe Oregon Wingman 5663-A NE 105th Portland, OR 97220 1(503)257-4141 http://www.wingman.com Looking at their connection options, it appears that they would also work with older Gerbing's products. Of course you could always replace the connectors with a matched style if you were to buy the gloves from a different manufacturer. Happy hunting!
Tool Posted October 14, 2007 Posted October 14, 2007 our administration has discouraged group buys associated with the site's name. Not exactly part of the "No Ads" concept, but most definitely part of the User Agreement. It may be good to review it every so often. To make that easier, here is a link: >>>User Agreement<<< In the agreement, you will find the following: #12 - "Members may not claim to represent the community in order to negotiate group discounts, bulk purchase agreements or other such activitites that might permit direct profit to a member or group of members. Posts inviting others to participate in group buys or bulk purchases are not permitted." Now that I have managed to do the "jack-booted-thug" dance all over this post, I must admit- I can't offer any insight to the Warm-n-Safe products... altho I'd love to hear more, as I don't exactly enjoy using my Gerbing gloves. Too bulky!
xoomerite Posted October 15, 2007 Posted October 15, 2007 Warm and Safe has a discount for those completing the MSF courses.
bakerzdosen Posted October 15, 2007 Posted October 15, 2007 Warm and Safe has a discount for those completing the MSF courses. They didn't exactly ask for proof when I signed up on their site either. The riders gloves (usually $169 or so) are $135.96 with the MSF discount not including shipping.
