Sellis Posted August 27, 2007 Share Posted August 27, 2007 Hello All, Just a quick note to remind everyone that Rt 19 in the Summersville and Fayetteville area is a speed trap. Speed drops to 50 MPH and they enforce it strictly. I think it is a revenue source for the area. Steve Link to comment

They will post police with radar at just about every entrance into Summerville, I've witnessed it first hand. Summerville wants your money and they will write you a ticket. Sellis Posted August 28, 2007 Author Share Posted August 28, 2007 I have not seen many LEOs outside the Summersville area, I don't think you will have a problem outside the immediate area, I've not heard of much and have never had a problem in surrounding areas (of course I always obey the speed laws) Summersville is pretty well known in WV as a speed trap, it's even posted on the speedtrap registry.
