big-t Posted August 22, 2007 Share Posted August 22, 2007 My touch screen no longer works on my 2610.Unit comes on and the maps load up ? I left it setting on the truck dash in the sun for a couple of days,maybe it just fried. Any suggestions ??......besides buying a Zumo. Link to comment

I bought a new 550 and then the 2610 started working again. Oh well. Mine stopped working in Alabama when is was 106 deg. Link to comment
Nitrox Posted August 22, 2007 Share Posted August 22, 2007 My Buddy's 2610 did that 2 months out of warranty. Garmin fixed it anyway. Good guys. Mine still works, but if it died, I would probably buy a refurb. I have seen them close to a hundred and on up... Link to comment
big-t Posted August 22, 2007 Author Share Posted August 22, 2007 Garmin is going to fix it under warranty,but the timing is sure lousy as I'm leaving on a trip Sunday. Just purchased a refurbished 2720 for $290 Assuming UPS holds up their end,I should be good to go. Link to comment
