F6maniac Posted August 21, 2007 Share Posted August 21, 2007 I've been lurking on forum for the past year and enjoy all the onfo. I bought a used RT in July, 06 with 1500 miles. The bike had been purchased new in July 2005. I have a couple of warranty issues that I need to get worked on. I looked through my paperwork and I don't have a warrantty book. Does the 2005 RT have a 3 year, 36,000 mile warranty? I have had a problem with the grear position potentiometer not working corectly for the past six months. Yesterday the fuel gage quit working. s3steve Posted August 21, 2007 Share Posted August 21, 2007 In Canada, "BMW Motorrad Canada warrants BMW motorcycles, imported by BMW Motorrad Canada to be free of defects in materials or workmanship for a period of 36 months, without kilometrage limitation, commencing with the date the motorcycle is first delivered to the first retail purchaser" Right from the BMW Canada web site.
