SOTA
had moto lights put on my bike what a world of difference. also had Avon storms put on, and rode in pouring rain for 100 miles they stuck to the road. All I have left to do is have rotors put on. but Tom at http://www.rennsportmotorrad.com/contact.html can get some for $100 less then BMW rotors that are better then the BMW, but could only find 1 in this country so waiting for the other one from Europe, so it will be a couple of weeks. also had all the fluids changed to synthetic amsoil http://meatman.smugmug.com/photos/178283931-L.jpg http://meatman.smugmug.com/photos/178284026-L.jpg Link to comment
11101110
nice RTP you have. I am considering moto lights but for the price it will take some more consideration. Looks like a pristine paint job. Have you had your bike painted? Link to comment
SOTA
That is the original color, thinking of adding some color to the white, but the moto lights and having to buy rotors in a few weeks the paint will have to wait. the moto lights for me not so much for the looks but for safety Link to comment
Wyn
Bob, Looks like you cleaned her up. What a difference! Looks great. Motolights, Avon, UltraSeal, Amsoil, all great moves. I'm looking forward to Nubb's update. Link to comment
11101110
You could always buy some scotchlight and add some trip to your bike. You can get it from www.galls.com. I used all black (reflects silver)on mine and you can hardly see it when not reflecting light. i cut the three inch roll (about $10 for 5 ft) that I bought into 1.25 inch strips on a 30 deg angle. Put them along the sides and back of the side cases and form below the mirrors to the front air scoop. Also just added some along the bottom between the front edge of the fairing and shift and brale levers. Not too gaudy and does the trick at night. I have recently noticed moto lights on a couple of beemers. Very noticeable. Link to comment

11101110
none of the sides or in the day yet. You can see what I did to the rear here I will probably take some more in the next day or so. Link to comment
Beemr69
Just a note on Moto's , their warranty is the ultimate I have had mine on my 99 rt since 2000 , when Fernando and I were riding to the ERC at Santa Maria I shattered a lens , I called Tina at Moto and it was in the mail n/c , recently I was having dilemmas with wiring within the enclosure behind the bulb , she shipped off a new pair of wiring harnesses , all I was charged for was the amber bulbs , these individuals are the ultimate in customer relations ...... LDHack
these individuals are the ultimate in customer relations Ditto on the customer service. Outstanding, beyond my expectations. And the product is durable, no problem with extensive rough road riding. Over 100k and 7 years using Motolights. Link to comment
russell_bynum
I am considering moto lights but for the price it will take some more consideration. I think they're worth it. (And I'm a notoriously cheap bastard.) I had PIAA 1100's on my RT, mounted under the oil cooler on an EZ-Mount bracket from CycleGadgets. We put MotoLights on Lisa's RS. I like the motolights better for a number of reasons: 1. Their position (low and wide) is much more conspicuous than lights that are mounted higher/closer together. 2. Great warranty/customer service (as Tim mentioned) 3. They use standard MR-16 bulbs that are available dirt cheap in every Walmart and hardware store in the free world...usually in a variety of beam patterns and wattage. Link to comment
chemman
What did you use for rear running lights and aux. brake lights? Thanks. Link to comment
