Successful 24 k tune up

Thanks to Keith for hosting a mini tech day, Bill for helping out and Marco for bringing his cheat sheets downloaded off the site. We started around 9:30 or so and finished around 4:00 I had a great day with lots of laughs and we still managed to get it done. It was about 260 for parts, and about 40 bucks for beer and food.

 

We changed all the fluids, Air filter, Fuel filter, Adjusted the valves, Bled the wheel circuits, Bled the control circuits. The brake fluid looked like brown ale I'm glad we flushed it out. We didn't get to the throttle body sync. The clutch bleed needs a bleeder valve before I can do that. And I need to pick up some pads for the rear brakes. All in all it went well and I saved about 700 bucks. She purrs like a kitten and pulls like a tractor, I had a hard time keeping it under 100 on the way home.

Thanks for the kind words. We had a lot of fun as well. Your bike WAS purring like a kitten when you left. I cannot believe we forgot the TB sync. Based on the way it was running I don't think it would have mattered at all to tell you the truth. I am looking for a good nights sleep and seeing whoever shows up manana. Catch you in the morning for the Mt. Baldy ride. Later.

Yea, but did it stop? The brake bleed had me worried.

Brakes work fine, I do need to get the new pads.

I should have them in 3-5 days
