GPS on the K75, in progress

Well I was unhappy with the mount that came with the Zumo as they expect it to mount on the handlebars which just aren't going to fit with the fairings on the K75 RT....

 

So the obvious solution is to replace the plasticky foam windshield brace with a real place to mount stuff.

 

From left to right is be Zumo, Garmin XM, Valentine 1 and then under the Zumo has a removable slot for the V1 remote/audio adapter. It is a snug fit... All the hole patterns are for RAM balls or plates, then some extra for cable management.

 

I'm just working on the electrics/routing cables now but I will also be disassembling it all and either getting it powder coated (aluminum 080) or just spray bomb it flat black / textured black.

Looking good. I sure miss my 91 RT! Same color as yours. Beautiful bike IMO.
