eddd
Ready to hit the road! I took a nice 4,000 mile round trip to visit the family in the Milwaukee, Wisconsin area. While visiting my parents in New Berlin, I was surprised to see the road repair crews filling the cracks with a heavy coating of tar which they then covered with a product that looks like toilet paper. It even comes on a roll. Here are a few pictures: The "toilet paper" is tougher than the regular stuff and doesn't let the tar bleed through, which is the reason for uing it. It is, however, very slippery, maybe worse than the tar snakes. I assume it break down with rain and traffic. The next picture is of one of the place you must visit on any trip to Milwaukee: Link to comment
grayghost
I realize this is a "BMWSportTouring" website, but if I was in Milwaukee, I'd have to visit the Harley-Davidson Factory. Link to comment

Cycledude
On the subject of "Tours in Milwaukee", Be sure to check out to the many brewery tours in town. Miller, Sprecher and LakeFront all have great tours. Snowy. Link to comment
MrHondamatic
They use that TP for those "Oh Sh!t" moments when riding. I've seen it used before and I can't decide if its better or worse than the sand used around here. At least the paper goes away, the sand lingers on the road. Link to comment
