George Brown
Counties in the great Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Since reading several years ago that Bob Higdon is trying to visit every county seat in the USA, I've toyed with the idea of doing the same in my home state. Pulled the trigger last Wednesday and have since visited 5 but not my own. My goal is to complete all 67 by July 17, 2008 since I started this July 18. So far those visited are Laporte (Sullivan Co.) Pottsville (Schuykill), Jim Thorpe (Carbon), Allentown (Lehigh) and Easton (Northampton). Link to comment
Bob Palin
I think you have to supply documentation in the form of a picture of the court house for each one Link to comment
BrianT
I think you have to supply documentation in the form of a picture of the court house for each one I was wondering if the visit to the county seat involved an invitation with a price on it from the local LEO? I was thinking it could get expensive to get cited in all the counties. Link to comment

I've already found that it is difficult to get the bike and the sign together in one photo. Its not easy to find a parking space where there is a view of the sign so it looks like two or three photos for each courthouse. I've decided to save center city Phila for a Sunday afternoon or an early Saturday morning. Link to comment
CT_Rider
Courthouse? How 'bout a pub? Much more interesting. Yeah, yeah, I know. We'll give you until 2009, fair enough? Link to comment

That would add a lot of time and cost since I make it a habit never to ride after I consume alchol - so I would have to stay overnight. But, it would certainly be more fun and interesting.
