GordonZ
I use the rear accessory plug of my 2006 R1200RT to trigger a Touratech power block/relay combination which I use to power my XM radio, CB radio and radar detector. Everything works OK except that the time delay between removing the key and when the accessory plug is de-energized varies substantially. Sometimes, it seems to turn off in 30 to 60 seconds while at other times, it seem to take 5 or even 10 minutes to eventually turn off. It always does finally turn off, but I worry about the greatly varying time. Do I have a problem somewhere, or is that just the nature of the operation of these accessory plugs to vary so much in the time needed to turn off the accessory plugs after the ignition key is removed from the bike?
