speedi
I have a pair of Joe Rocket waterproof street cycle boots with leather uppers and a rubber type bottom. The bottom is separating from the boot. What can I use to glue or seal the bottom back on?? Has anyone had this experience? Thanks! Link to comment
Jerry Johnston
I'd try Shoe-Goo. I used to use Shoegoo on my tennis shoes and it filled in the worn spots and would last for several months. I have an old pair of Joe Rocket bootss that are still ok just not my favorite any more - never did seperate. Link to comment
keithb
Go to Home Depot/Lowe's/hardware store. Get a dual syringe of Epoxy. Express out both components mix them together and apply to the sole of your boot. I would put some clamps on it to hold it together. I bought a pair or work boots from Sears 5/6 years ago and the sole is doing the same thing. All it takes is a few bucks and some of your time to do it. Easy fix really. Link to comment
Wyn
I had a pair of Muc boots that I used when I pressure washed concrete. At that time I didn't use hot water. I used pool chlorine to kill the mildew. The soles seperated so I took them to a koobler and he glued them back together. I don't know what he used but it worked. Finally trashed them after the soles completly wore out down to the glue. Link to comment
