TrickLidz
06 RT A couple of times the past few days, the warning light came on indicating lights out. Checked to find both tail lights and brake lights out (sometimes only one is out). I removed the tool roll I had stored in the back thinking it was messing with the wiring and wiggled the plugs in the back and they came on. Today, restarting after a fill up the same thing happened, pulled over, played with wiring (the plugs seem tight) and they went back on only to go off again a few miles later. Stopped, repeated the process, and on they went---stayed on for rest of trip. I just started the bike again after sitting a couple of minutes, like after re-filling, but they are still OK. I thought maybe it was a circuit breaker that was restting after cooling down (I know there's no fuses on this bike ) I'm gonna pull the taillight off tonite if I have time and poke around....BUT....I was wonder if anyone had a problem like this that could share some thoughts? TIA, 'Lidz Link to comment
JayW
I had the high beam flash on at random for several hours after I washed my bike once, but it never happened again, so I guess it was the water messing with the switches. Had you been in the rain? Jay Link to comment
