bwr
The hazard (four-way) lights have stopped working on my RS. When I depress and hold both turn signal switches, all four lights flash, but as soon as I let go of the switches, only the left or right side flashes (whichever of the switches happened to be the last one let go). I'm assuming that this is a turn signal relay problem. But, before I order one up and have it shipped out, should I be checking anything else? Link to comment
Stan Walker
That's the way they work on the RT. There is a red switch on the left side handlebar controls that is used to turn them on and leave them on. Is the RS different? Stan Link to comment
bwr
Oh ... futzzzz I'm being a real dumb ass here. It's on a HARLEY that depressing both switches simultaneously turns on the hazards (and I sold that bike over a year ago!). You're right -- it's a separate switch on the Beemer It's been such a long time since I used them I missed that switch in the dark on the side of the road last weekend. Thanks, Stan. I'm going to climb under a rock now. Link to comment
