Woodie
Anyone know how to connect a Treo 700P with an Autocom? I want both the phone capability and the music player capability from the phone. Oh, and I will be adding an FRS radio, so that input's taken too. Thoughts? Link to comment
EffBee
The new Autocom Active-Rider and the Pro-Rider AVi both are designed to work with MP3 phones using just a single cable. The question is, what type of output plug does your Treo have and is it compatible with the cables that Autocom has for this purpose. If so, then it should work just fine. Give Autocom USA a call at 888-851-4327 and they'll have all the answers for you. I can usually help people with their Autocom configurations, but I'm not up to speed on all of the latest phones and the cables they require. Autocom USA will be. Link to comment
Woodie
Thanks FB. I did talk to them (Autocom America), and they weren't 100%, and they were pushing me to the Pro-Rider. The local (Autocom) dealer is still researching, but I thought I'd ask here for any folks with experience. Link to comment
John Bentall
The Super-Pro that they were pushing you towards is the only model to be able to power an FRS radio. That saves using a rechargeable battery or finding another 12V supply. Link to comment
