I was told by the folks (Topgear) in the Autocom booth at the MOA rally that I was the first person who's unit/radio combanation they could not get to work, once they got there hands on it, EVER. They and I have messed with this thing for over 4 weeks now and no matter what, new Kenwood, Pro rider, cables, etc, I get a nice chatter when I transmit. How lucky for me. Do I get a prize? thumbsup.gif

I don't mean to urinate on your parade, but I get told by companies that "we've never seen this before" all the time.

Hopefully, they take care of you.

In there defense, they did say they have seen this happen, just not to this extent. And yes, I did get my money back. Just went back to a older Pro-7 which works fine.

Danial in their "technical support" department doesn't even know that their system uses independent ground wires for right and left speakers, and that connecting them to a 3 wire stereo jack w/ a common ground terminal causes problems...
