I was told by the folks (Topgear) in the Autocom booth at the MOA rally that I was the first person who's unit/radio combanation they could not get to work, once they got there hands on it, EVER. They and I have messed with this thing for over 4 weeks now and no matter what, new Kenwood, Pro rider, cables, etc, I get a nice chatter when I transmit. How lucky for me. Do I get a prize?

In there defense, they did say they have seen this happen, just not to this extent. And yes, I did get my money back. Just went back to a older Pro-7 which works fine.

Danial in their "technical support" department doesn't even know that their system uses independent ground wires for right and left speakers, and that connecting them to a 3 wire stereo jack w/ a common ground terminal causes problems...
