99rtRon
Speedometer cable on my 99rt let go at 42k so a replacement is on the way. Is it best to dab on some heavy grease on the ends when replacing or install dry? Thanks in advance. Link to comment
snod
I don't grease the cable, but make sure you clean out and grease the drive gear at the front axle. It will wear out from grit and gunk if you don't. Make sure you get the nut on the back of the speedo tight. It is famous for coming loose. Link to comment
Ken H.
The cable is designed to run dry. Link to comment
