ridesmith Posted July 10, 2007 Share Posted July 10, 2007 I'm new to BMW's, but loving my 07 RT! I want to put a headlight modulator on, and I believe I need to disconnect the plug that's right under the tach. What's the trick to getting it off? Link to comment
Jon_M Posted July 10, 2007 Share Posted July 10, 2007 If it's like the one on the '05, there is a little plastic snap on the top edge of the plug. Push that down gently and the plug should slip off easily. Be VERY careful putting the modulator in place. Mine was an extremely tight fit, and in pushing it on, I actually pushed the receptacle part into the headlight housing. Fortunately, I was able to snake it back into place, but it was a real pain in the butt. There is no room to work in there. Link to comment
