Plasterman
Any recommendations on a good set of plugs for the RT? Looking at Autolite 3923. If you put these in what should they be gapped at? Tom Link to comment
AndyT
I have a 2003 R1150RT and the AL3923 plugs made a nice real difference! I gapped them at .32" and have 6000 miles on them so far. The bike idles smoother, picks up a bit faster and smoother, and revs easier and smoother up through red line. I don't know why a $1.50 plug would work so well??!! Several spark plug sites had the Auto Lite 3923 as a proper replacement for the stock plug. A number of members of this board have written how the plug cured some of their surging and gave them a smoother running engine! My bike didn't have a noticeable surge, but I love the difference the AL's made! AndyT Link to comment
