Godfather Posted July 1, 2007 Share Posted July 1, 2007 Today I replaced the cam chain tensioner on my 99'RT using the advrider.com thread info...GOOD STUFF very thurough, very easy! The bike is quieter on start up amd seems to be quieter when running too.Total time with adjusting the clutch (BTW, 1st time I have done these tasks) and all plastics off/on, clean up, put tools away etc...1 hr 40 min. One question though, The bike used to pop a bit when decelerating, now it does not. How could the things I have just done affect this? Thanks for any input. Link to comment
