First I want to thank Morton's BMW for the excellent support they and Atlanta BMW have given N8 this year. Morton's had a great spread at turn 3, and we all got to watch him win again, despite terrible injuries from his recent crash.

Thanks Jeff Massey (owner of Morton's), and family for the great weekend! thumbsup.gif

N8 kicked ASS! He not only won pole position, but hit the holeshot and led the entire race! It was frigging inspiring!

The man is one of the nicest guys, with the biggest heart of anyone I know.

Thanks N8!

Here are some shots of the weekend:

I loved the plethera of scooters and mini-bikes in the pits. This was my favorite!

Inexplicably, this was in N8's pit. ooo.gif

N8-Sign.jpg

Mike, Cindy and Thomas made up a BMWBMW Sign in support of N8. Very cool! thumbsup.gif Tina, my GF is in black.

N8 as cool as can be before the race! Notice the scars on his arm?

Nate is one of the most approachable guys you would ever want to meet. He and I have met a few times, and despite his huge fan base, he always remembers our names, and answers all his e-mails. grin.gif

And here is N8 in action!

I wish I could ride like this!

N8 giving us a wave after he won the race! He did a wheelie too, but I missed the shot! dopeslap.gif

A cool shot from the pits.

An evicerated Buel. Close your eyes Mike! smile.gif

I also caught a crash in action.

Crash-2.jpg

Not bad, just a little tumble.

Crash-3.jpg

He just popped back up and looked at his bike.

Crash-4.jpg

Then gave it a push out of danger.

We saw several crashes, but no one appeared to be seriously injured!

All in all it was a great weekend. Nice weather, good company, and a nice ride down and back.

Those "little" pit bikes are a blast. That is a Pitster 125cc bike. They are made in China but the build quality is awesome. Here is me a few weeks ago getting muddy on one.

Actually, they run two classes at the same time.

Nate also has number 12 on his open unlimited class bike as well.

Great report, thanks for the sharing. Nate is a class act. Glad to see him racing again after his big off. I never met him before but still he emails me to invite me to a track day,can not be more down to earth then that.
