wolcott
Anyone know what to torgue the center stand pivot bolts to? From my Haynes manual, Chapter 5- Frame, suspension, and final drive; page 5.1- Center stand pivots/pivot bolts are 21 NM. 21 X .738, conversion formula for pounds-force feet equals 15.49 lbs.ft. 21 NM X 8.85 equals 185.85 lb.inch for the smaller torque wrenches. They want you to apply Loctite 2701 to the pivot bolt threads after you have lubricated the assembly. Link to comment
allynr1100
Thanks, I looked in my Haynes manual before I posted and it wasn't in there. Just looked again to make sure and I sure don't see it. They must have left it out of my edition. Link to comment
