I'm giving you SoCal riders fair warning. There's a road hardened traveller headed in your direction. I'm doing my best to soften him up for you, but I'm not sure that there won't be any "incidents" when he arrives.

This morning, we are graced by an on-time visit with BenciaRT_GT.

 

In this house boxers and thumpers rule bee-yotch.

 

Breakfast at Pearls. Man, the lies were flowing and the pancakes were running for their blueberry topped lives.

 

Sadly, Richard could not stick around. He mumbled something about needing to get sleep before going back to working the graveyard shift tonight.

 

So our wayward adventurer and I went off in search of some local libations. We found some at Robledo Winery, where being part of La Familia has it's priveleges.

 

Then over to Domaine Carneros, where we'd sit on the porch of this monument to wretched excess and sip some Pinot Noir while we enjoyed the cooling breeze from the San Pablo Bay.

 

Psst, Norah... I think that if he gets to rowdy you should give him a glass or two of wine. He ran off to take a nap when we got back. On second thought, it's looks like he's secretly surfing the web on the wireless. Didn't know I could tell, did'ya Marty?

 

Tomorrow, we'll see him off, into the capable hands of your SoCal crew. Enjoy him, and treat him well.

Here is the last time I saw him (on Thursday morning).......glad he made it ok, it was HOT that day....

Yeah, he came and he went, but not without stirring up Southern California. He said he had a great time up there and enjoyed the wine tasting.

 

He had his cheerios this a.m. and now he's on the 10 headed east. Thanks for sharing the pictures (I miss it up there) and maybe, just maybe I'll see you on 7/7!!
