Paint for new 07R1200RT rear tank bag (sand beige metalic color)

I would like to paint the rear bag that comes in silver and black to match the color of my RT. Dealer reports that BMW has legal issues shipping paints and it is no longer avialble.

 

Does anyone have informtion and or a solution to finding correct paint color?

Find a local paint shop, preferably one that specializes in motorcycles and they can match the paint using the paint code that’s under the seat. Mine looks great and several others have taken this route as well.

To: MikeB60: Thanks for the suggestion, I found a shop that has done several BMW's. I will take the bag in tomorrow along with a helmet. They will paint both.
