Crazy Noodle
Hi, Dropped my bike last year (lucky onto a big graduation tent) in the garage. Once it started going away from me all I could do was yell "timber". Don't ever stop half way up on the center stand no matter what the bottom of your foot is telling you, keep going! Anyways, the glass in the mirror was shattered. I was fortunate that the tent was there or I think it would have been worse. Any tricks to replacing the glass? It has only taken me a year to order the glass. I am hoping the installation will go faster? Thanks, Todd Link to comment
Uggles
Bash the mirror off (as if replacing the indicator bulb) and remove the indicator bulb / holder. Remove the three screws holding the black bit to the outer. You'll see that the mirror glass is held on to the swivel bit by four plastic clasps. Two, maybe three of these are reasonably easy to get off but the fourth will need a long thin screwdriver to help lever it off. New one just clips on and Bob's yer uncle. Cheers Link to comment
