Throttle Body Synch (TBS) (Engine-vibration)

When was the last time you did the valves/TBsynch?

Is it engine-vibration (RPMs) or driveline (speed)?

Mumster, it’s difficult to help without knowing what the vibration is coming from? If just an engine buzz in the handlebars then it is probably normal but if a slower shake frequency then it might be tire/wheel induced..

Is your problem a buzz (high frequency) or more of a shake?

You can’t easily determine the difference by riding at the same road speed in a lower gear.. If the vibration stays at the same vehicle speed it is probably tire/wheel induced (bad tire, improper balance, 1st order radial harmonic problem, etc).. If the vibration changes with engine RPM it is engine/drive train related (possibly normal, or loose engine mountings, or grounded exhaust system, etc)..

Another way is to accelerate to above the 80-90 mph, then pull in the clutch (throttle off) & coast back down through the offending vehicle speed.. If the vibration is still there it is probably tire related,, if it is gone it is probably engine/drive train related..
