hopz
I am looking at an '04 K12GT. I love the bike, but it still seems tall for my 5'7" frame. I will be riding 2-up most of the time and I would really like to get this down at least an inch, two would be better. That last increment of cornering ability does not matter to me. What can be done? Are there custom heated seats that I can use, or can a seat builder modify the factory job? What else? Link to comment
Carnadero
Are there custom heated seats that I can use, or can a seat builder modify the factory job? If I had to venture a guess, modification of a stock or aftermarket seat would probably be the route you have to take. Your best bet is to contact the various aftermarket manufacturers and discuss your situation with them to see if any of them offer an acceptable solution. For reference, Sargent makes mention of lowering options on their alterations page. As the tape on Mission Impossible always says when at the end, "Good luck". Link to comment
ESokoloff
BMW makes or made a 1" lower heated seat. You do know that the seat has an upper & lower position? If thats not enough shortened after-market shocks are available. Link to comment
