allynr1100
If you grab the end of my side stand and wiggle it (perpendicular to the bike) it moves about 1/2 inch. Is this any big deal? Would replacing the bushing tighten it up any? Link to comment
Woodie
Mine has a wiggle (up/down and front/back)...but I have a different sidestand than yours. Link to comment
repo
Mine wiggled. I tightened the screws. But that was after we removed the entire sidestand to weld on a larger footprint!!!!! Link to comment
ShovelStrokeEd
I don't think there is a bushing, only a stripper bolt in a hole. You would have to remove the assembly and inspect. If the hole is worn oblong, replace the side stand, if the bolt is worn, replace the bolt. Link to comment
Eckhard Grohe
There is a bushing and I wouldn't worry about 1/2" of movement. It's just a sidestand and not meant to be precise. The Germans are learning cost effective engineering at long last. Just make sure the bolt is tight. Now if only parts prices would be reasonable. Link to comment
