ChuckS
I am considering getting one. I have ridden many miles with out one now I am thinking it could give me a more comfy seat. But the questions I have are: Will I like it? You can’t answer that.. I know…But how about.. will the pad allow the heat from my seat (that I really like) to pass through? How about the difference between gel-pads and just sheepskin? Thanks! Link to comment
Heyfrank
I have the sheep pad ,wife likes it, I like it and the heat does pass thru it. .I never ride on high heat, it would burn my butt. Very worth the money. I bought the alaskan sheep cover/pad. Link to comment
drzep
One dot low heat + sheepskin = nice, warm butt Two dot high heat + sheepskin = total swamp ass Link to comment

(only real drawback) ISYHTRAH True, but if your wearing your rain gear it don't matter. The lanolin makes them dry pretty quick, just brush off the excess water with your hand. Jerry Johnston
I have both the gel-pad and sheep skin but I don't use the gel pad because I felt like it would slide off the seat. Maybe I would like the gel better if it were built into the seat. Link to comment
