OK what I I missing -- Zumo 550 and BT cell phone

I have an Autocom Pro M1 with a lead from my Zumo 550 to the music input on the Autocom. The Zumo registers my cell phone. I can dial calls using the Zumo 550. I can hear just fine, but I can't seem to transmit anything via my cell phone. What am I doing wrong here?

The Zumo lead (part #1300) should should be plugged into the AUX socket of the Pro M-1, which is the phone socket. Not the music socket.
