erich schneider
So I got all finished putting the clutch in my 96 1000rt and needed to replace the two hanger bushings that bolt to the convertor and to the rear of the engine sump by the side stand. I called thedealer I got my clutch parts from and the said tha they were not available, but I should be ok with out them. Anybody out there run into the same thing? I tried to check at another dealer today but when I showed up their computors were down. I couldn't even get taillight bulbs because the couldn't look them up or buy a new face shield for my wives helmet. I think I am going to try and make something. I am open to ideas. Thanks, Erich Link to comment
Boffin
BMW dropped these on later bikes. There is no problem for you to do the same. Andy Link to comment
SAAB93driver
Newer bikes - ie 1150 - don't have them or another mounting point so I don't think it's is a problem to run without them. Link to comment
