msb01
Can anyone provide a step by step for replacing an apparently burned out headlight bulb? The BMW maintenance CD is a little sparse on details Link to comment
NoHeat
Which bulb? I see in your profile you have an '04. If it's the low beam, it's easy, and the instructions in the owners manual are adequate, assuming they look the same as in my '03 manual. You don't have to remove anything other than the connector on the back of the bulb. Link to comment
msb01
Thanks, it is the low beam. Is the bulb available from normal auto parts sources or does it have to come from a dealer? Link to comment
NoHeat
Buy an H7 bulb from any autoparts or big-box retailer. More info on bulb size and other failure modes for lights on this thread Link to comment
msb01
Got it out-looks like an H7. Does that sound right for the low beam? Link to comment
NoHeat
H7, yes, for your low beam. I erroneously posted H3 in the previous post - then I edited to correct that post. Link to comment
